We are about

More than basketball

At Hoop Haven, basketball is about so much more than improving your jump shot or ball handling. It's about building unshakeable confidence, developing high-quality character, creating lifelong relationships, and helping young athletes discover what they are capable of on and off the court.

01

Skills

Fundamentals taught step by step, with lots of reps and individual feedback so players actually improve.

02

Character

Effort, coachability, respect for teammates and how to handle a mistake. We hold every player to the standards a good team would.

03

We celebrate improvement — not just talent — so every player leaves feeling capable on and off the court.

What you can count on

A safe, supervised space

Coaches on the floor at all times, a clear check-in and pick-up process, and a positive culture with zero tolerance for put-downs.

Progress you can see

Every individual training client begins with an evaluation that gives player and coach a clear picture of their baseline, their strengths, and the areas with the most room to grow. From there, a new evaluation every 10 sessions measures progress and keeps their personal development plan on track.

Clear communication

Schedules and reminders sent by email or text. Access to an online portal where you can message your coach or the facility directly. Questions answered within 24 hours.

Every level welcome

First-time players and varsity hopefuls both get coached where they are — challenged, but never overwhelmed.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

My child has never played on a team. Is that okay?

Yes! No playing experience is required.

Which program is right for my player?

Not sure where to start? Book an evaluation and we'll recommend the best fit — small group, individual training or both.

What should my child bring?

All they need is a water bottle, indoor shoes, energy and a ready-to-learn, work-hard attitude!

Can parents watch?

Absolutely! Parents are more than welcome to watch any session. We love having families in the gym — it's a great way to see your player's progress firsthand and be part of their journey. Pull up a seat and enjoy!

What if we miss a session?

We understand that life happens! We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, this way we can offer the spot to another athlete. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are charged half the session fee, and missed sessions without notice are charged in full. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly for every family!

Where do we park and drop off?

Drop-off and pick-up are right in front of the facility door. Please note that our entrance opens directly onto the court, so we kindly ask everyone to wipe their feet and be mindful of snow, rain and dirt on the way in. Athletes should change into clean indoor shoes once inside. Thank you for helping us keep our facility in tip-top shape!
